We’re just a few short days away from the release of the final DLC for Mass Effect 2, Arrival. If you’ve popped your disc in lately you may have noticed that there was a title update for this game to get a few pieces in place before the DLC is live on Tuesday. Let’s take a look:
The final Mass Effect 2 DLC is set to crash land on March 29th… Hold on!
Pilx surprised me with this one while at lunch today. So all the credit goes to him for finding this gem
Her look is remarkably similar to that of Mass Effect 2’s Miranda. So much so, that the writers and producers decided to throw in a line about a certain “suicide mission”.
Bioware released Mass Effect 2 this week for the PS3. Now there are a few minor technical differences between the 360 and PS3 version, but one difference is blaring. There is currently no way to carry over your save game from ME1 to ME2 on the PS3 because ME1 does not exist on the PS3
You have to stick with it til the end to hear about the wonderful online videos that display sword and sorcery (minus any sorcery). Today we talked about battling fans (of the ceiling variety), Patton Oswalt, Catch Up Time, Illusive…
Hey all, it appears that the story of Mass Effect 2 is not quite over. I’ve been wanting to post about the new DLC for ages, but solid information was scarce, and speculative at best. All we had were tid-bits of infomation leaked onto the web by random devs who were mentioning things they probably weren’t at liberty to discuss. It was like decrypting the fucking Zodiac cypher.
X-Box live is offering all of the Mass Effect 2 DLC for 200 points each. This deal actually expires late tonignt, but if you haven’t stumbled across this news yet I’ll spell it out for you.
800 > 200
This Christmas eve let us celebrate an amazing Bioware crossover event. For a while now I’ve been hearing rumors that the best female voice actress in the biz, Jennifer Hale was going to be the voice of the Trooper class in Bioware’s upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. Well with this X-mas eve trailer those rumors have been confirmed! (Click to behold greatness)
So today we talk about Mass Effect 3 pre-ordering, Mass Effect 2 soundtracks, our favorite podcasts, Comic-con registration (or lack there of), and the year end Best of lists. We review two Tron games, post mortem the VGA game trailers…
What you’re seeing here are the ruins of London England in the year 2184 C.E. The cockney sounding gentlemen states that 2 million were killed in the first day, and another 7 million in the first week. While the numbers may seem low for a massive alien invasion, we are talking about the population of London after many humans left earth due to pollution and overpopulation problems. Also, we should all be aware that many of the humans are more than likley being harvested for some nefarious purpose, as seen in Mass Effect 2.
Nerd Appropriate is covering the 2010 Spike VGA awards with a live stream, some pizza, and hopefully some toilet humor. (Sat 12/11 8pm EST)
Even if you can’t attend the party itself we are going to give away “Achievements” to the folks that can guess the winners in a wide variety of categories. What are these “achievements” you speak of? You’ll have to wait and see.
