Even if you couldn’t attend yesterday’s Dragon Age and Mass Effect 3 Q+A session, the nice folks at Bioware were cool enough to record everything for us

As most of you are aware, Bioware decided to allow fans to choose the official appearance for the female Commander Shepard on Facebook and I was lucky enough to be at the Bioware-Base when the six candidates were announced. The scene was utter-mayhem and I can honestly say there were almost as many females as males present at the event. However here is where things get a bit tricky.
When we put our audio interview up last month with Ali Hillis the initial demand was so high that our servers crashed… HARD. We actually love when that happens. It was great to see fans line up at Comic-Con for an opportunity to meet both Ali and Jennifer Hale.
While wandering the streets we happened to run into the 2011 Comic-Con zombie walk which was as confusing for them as it was for us. Honestly, there was something incredibly gratifying about stabbing a fake-zombie with my fake omni-blade. Check out the video below.
If you managed to make it to Comic-Con 2011 you probably saw a large number of Mass Effect fans running around town sporting shiny new omni-blades. If you’re a Mass Effect fan that didn’t attend Comic-Con 2011 you probably want one of your very own. Well you’re in luck, because we’re giving one away!
The rising cost of medical care is no joke. Jimmy Hinson who helped work on the music for one of our favorite games, Mass Effect 2, needs our help! Jimmy also has an incredibly rad chip-tune project called big Giant Circles that he’s using to help raise money for a great cause, his sister.
Mass Effect 3 had a major showing at day 1 of the E3 convention. We’re going to comb through it all as the day progresses, but we figured we’d start with the Mass Effect 3 N7 edition contents. I’m going to be honest with you, if this edition cost $400.00 and had life sized statue of Yeoman Chambers I’d probably find some way of buying it. From what we know now, the N7 edition looks very promising, although I rarely read an art book more than once. Have a look!

Mass Effect 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. When I got married last year I gave copies of it to my groomsmen. I’ve beaten the game five times, and have completed a fresh “Insanity Run”. I would probably get an N7 tramp stamp and not give a shit what people thought about me. Needless to say any new bit of Mass Effect content is going to make me a very, very happy man.
