I hadn’t heard all that much about NBC’s new science fiction survival story “Revolution”, until earlier this week while recording our very own podcast. Revolution follows the adventures of a family attempting to survive in a world without order, law, or electricity. As with everything J.J. Abrams touches, there will inevitably be a vast and complicated conspiracy designed to stretch for multiple seasons
If this is sign of things to come in terms the level of quality of Hulu’s original programming, than we’re all in luck. The world of television changing for the better. It’s good to see that the days of wasted channels (the ocho) and junk-food television consumption are coming to an end. If more companies like Hulu and Netflix start to provide quality material like Battleground, we’re on the way to some real television Democracy… And that’s just awesome.
In reality this isn’t just a victory for IGTM, but for game lovers everywhere, as raising awareness of the trials and tribulations of game creation only serves to increase the respect and legitimacy of the craft.
I bought a Google TV a while ago and had the pleasure (blech) of using the first version of it for a few months without a cable box. The Google TV is one of those classic Google products. You know the type. Quick to market, short on delivery. It is [...]
The live action series will be called Star Wars: Underworld and will apparently focus on the seedy underbelly of the outer rim at the height of the Empire’s power. According what we’ve been hearing the series will take place between episode 3 and 4 while Luke and Leia are still suffering from acne and Alderanean dating dilemmas. What this also means is that we’ll probably get to see a lot of familiar faces, including one perpetually pissed off Darth Vader (arm jack). According to legend, over 50 episodes of the series have already been written and are just waiting for the right opportunity to get rolling.
After multiple rounds of sales and many people interested (including Google, Microsoft and more), Hulu announced on their blog yesterday that they are canceling the sale entirely. They did not find an offer that they felt suited their earning potential, so they are pulling the plug. To be honest I’m not sure [...]
I think we can all safely guess what my picks are going to be tonight, but let’s take a look anyways. ABC 8pm – 9pm – Charlie’s Angels – Show Premiere: Executive Produced by Ms. Drew Barrymore herself, this is the TV redux of the popular 70′s show. Surprisingly not [...]
Did you catch New Girl last night? I was on the fence during the TV Deathwatch, but I really liked it. Laughed aloud a few times and enjoyed the characters quite a bit. So let’s get it rolling for Wednesday night. ABC 8pm – 9pm – The Middle – 1 [...]
Alright, I’ll admit it. Yesterday was a bit of a stretch. We didn’t exactly start off with a bang, but today is a little better. Sorry for the delay on this one, I got knocked out of commission earlier today. ABC 8pm – 10pm – MORE DANCING WITH THE STARS!!!! [...]
It’s here, it’s finally here! My nights won’t be boring anymore right? I don’t have to wonder what I’ll watch because the networks will tell me, right?!? Well Fall TV is upon us, and for the next couple of weeks we will be letting you know what is on that [...]
