The Mass Efffect universe is vast in scope. There are plenty of other stories to be told on other worlds, with other characters, from the perspectives of other races. I think it’s time to let Shepard retire and see what else is out there in the galaxy. I’m really curious, and excited, to see what Bioware comes up with next!

A quick, and sentimental, look back on the best podcast moments of 2012 according to Ash.
I’m sure people are wondering why I am even bothering to write about a game which is almost 8 years old. In the interests of full disclosure, I hadn’t even played Jade Empire till last week at the insistence of @arch4ngel. Now that I have played, and loved the game, I want to talk about it.
Insomniac games is known for the incredibly fun Ratchet and Clank franchise, but what happens when they focus on something a bit more…. explosive? The answer may just be Fuse. While we still don’t know a heck of a lot about Fuse, we do know this new trailer has us amped up to shoot things with our buddies. Check it!
Omega is definitely a fun addition which I would recommend for anyone looking to spend a couple more hours in the Mass Effect universe. Also, if you’d like to check out NA’s chat with Mass Effect producer Mike Gamble about the making of Omega, and Mass Effect in general, check out Rated NA 32: Omega Explosion.
Hmmmm…. “We’re in early stages of designing a completely new Mass Effect game. What would you want to see in it?” This afternoon Mass Effect Executive producer Casey Hudson sent out a tweet that got the imaginations of Mass Effect fans working overtime. While this is something we’ve discussed at length on our podcast Rated NA, we’re elated to hear that Bioware is hard at work on a next-gen Mass Effect title. After a bit of stewing here is what we’d love to see.
Today marks a pretty special day for Mass Effect Fans everywhere, N7 Day! November 7th will (hopefully) forever be associated with one of the great space operas of our generation, Mass Effect. (Details)
Like sneaky witches from the wilds, Bioware announced today that Dragon Age III has been in the works for almost two years and is being built on a customized version of the Frostbite 2 engine (see: pretty). While details about DA III are almost non existent, we quickly came up with some things that we’d love to see from one of our favorite franchises. Behold a list!
My love of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is not a well guarded secret. As a series, the Clone Wars continues to get better and better with each passing season and magically manages to deliver the same action and storytelling nuance that made the Star Wars of old the legend that it is today. I was lucky enough to attend the Clone Wars season five premiere and subsequent press conference at Star Wars Celebration VI, and even got a few bags of force infused popcorn to munch on while we watched! It really did taste better than regular popcorn.
An alloy is described as “A metal made by combining two or more metallic elements, esp. to give greater strength or resistance to corrosion.” This weekend, by promoting two or more of your characters in ME3MP you can bolster the war effort and help save the whole freakin’ universe! On top of all that universe saving mumbo-jumbo, you’ll also receive a commendation pack filled with goodies as well as a victory pack if 50,000 characters total are promoted. As always, if they keep making it and we’ll keep playing it. We have a crush on ME3MP.
