Star Wars: The Old Republic is upon us, and it arrived this afternoon in a Death Star sized crate filled will nerdy Star Wars treats! While other unboxing videos are currently making their way around the internet, few are filled with the shaky-cam cinematography of a young Michael Bay. Behold our SWTOR: Collector’s edition unboxing video!
There is something afoot, we just don’t know quite what it is yet. Recent comments made by EA/Bioware seem to confirm that there are something “mass”ive coming our way in the form of a new Bioware flavored social experience.
When we got wind through various sites that Bioware was looking to launch an IOS/Android game along with Mass Effect 3, our gears started turning. Recent products such as Brady Games excellent Batman: Arkham City Map APP have done a great job at improving the game experience even though they’re technically not a game per say.
Information about Mass Effect’s new multiplayer mode, Galaxy at War, is more well guarded than the Citadel. Love it or hate it, Mass Effect 3 multiplayer is coming your way soon and we have some incredible new information for you straight from Bioware to wet your palette until 3-6-12. Published this afternoon on the Bioware Blog, Erika has a nice long chat with Mass Effect 3 Producer, Jesse Houston…
My latest adventure took me from California to St. Augustine, Florida for EXP Con to see Commander Shepard; both versions of Commander Shepard, in fact. Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer were in attendance, meeting for the first time. Ali Hillis had been…
Our panelists, all members of Crabcat Industries, were Jessica Merizan, Hilary Shapiro, and Elizabeth Heckmaier. The discussion started at a different place than I expected: fandom.
The first annual Geek Girl Con was held on October 8th and 9th in Seattle, WA. This was the first con I’d been to in years and I met some great people (check out these awesome Dragon Age cosplayers) and snagged a couple of autographs. As soon as I began to play the original GOW I realized that there was something about the game’s blend of action and tactics that set it apart from all other games in the genre. Over the years I’ve beaten both GOW campaigns with a wide various friends, family, and strangers, and still find the experience to be deeply satisfying. While some of the systems introduced in the original GOW were still in their relative infancy, the overall Gears experience was always spectacular. After playing a lot of Gears 3 over the past week I can honestly say that the Gears 1 and 2 were just an appitizer for the feast that is Gears of War 3.
I pulled myself away from grub smashing long enough to forward you all some great Mass Effect 3 information I stumbled across on SFX. In this interview Casey Hudson spills the beans on the highly anticipated Mass Effect 3, the most interesting being the revelation of a rotating cast of companions.
