It’s that time again. The mother of all nerd conventions is less than a month away and while information is a bit scarce as to which of your favorite shows will be in attendance (all of them), we do have some early panel information that popped up on both TV.Com and TV Guide. With Comic-Con growing each and every year it’s a safe bet that your favorite television series will probably make an appearance to plug their upcoming season or to just have some fun.
We’re back on a short week to talk Republique, TV deathwatch, Avengers, Minecraft, ME3: Operation Silencer, and Sniper Elite V2. We also continue our “summer game pile” series, and take your answers to our open thread about sidekicks in a post apocalyptic world. Beware the creepers.
It’s high time for Mass Effect 3 spoiler talk, with your feedback on the community response. We also highlight Brea Grant’s new film: Best Friends Forever, and review Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, The Hunger Games (film), and the very addictive rComplex for iOS. Let’s get into it.
We've become big fans of Allie's music as well as her incredible writing. We were elated to hear that Allie, like us, is a huge fan of Judd Apatow's Freaks and Geeks (which lives on in all of our nerdy…
I think we can all safely guess what my picks are going to be tonight, but let's take a look anyways. ABC 8pm - 9pm - Charlie's Angels - Show Premiere: Executive Produced by Ms. Drew Barrymore herself, this is…
When I learned that Community was returning to Comic-Con 2011 I made sure that I was there no matter what. Here is a little video I slapped together of the intro, followed by some pretty hilarious singing by Gillian Jacobs, Joel McHale, and Donald Glover. Alison Brie was not in attendance.
Check out G4 giving Community’s Danny Pudi the show reigns as he wades into the Comic-Con 2011 cosplay crowd and has a few run-ins with Klingons, Sand People, Spartacus, Batman, and more.
So….Zachary Levi, Danny Pudi, Jorge Garcia, Olivia Munn, Alison Haislip, Alessandra Torresani, and Josh Gomez- The Friends of the Nerdolution Panel was one of the best convention-experiences I’ve ever had and I’m still sort of in awe that it occurred at all. You know when you have a really awesome dream and wake up the next morning thinking that it may have been a little bit real? That’s sort of how I feel this morning. The panel was an hour+ of hanging out with some of my favorite entertainers on the planet in a small room no bigger than a 7-11.
I’ve determined that I’ve become incredibly reliant on technology. For those wondering why NA hasn’t updated in a few days… blame the interwebs!
The Nerd Machine is now hosting a series of special panels right outside the walls of the convention center. The spectacular thing about The Nerd Machine’s panels is that they’re limited to 250 people (which is incredibly small by Comic Con’s standards), and your ENTIRE 20 dollar donation goes to charity.
Now, specific roles have yet to be revealed but I went ahead and did some casting for Tarantino’s next bloodbath anyway! How’d you do that Ash? Hold on a second and I’ll tell you, yeesh!
Well my friends, the nerd gods have smiled upon us! Tonight Alison Brie (interview coming soon…ish) and Danny Pudi of Community take over the hosting duties on Attack of The Show!
