I quit playing WOW ages ago, but something I read recently sparked my interest. For one week everyone that had a WOW account at some point can come back to the game for FREE. That’s right, no WOW subscription fee for an entire week. Why are they doing this you ask? Well, Blizzard is blowing up the world. When the servers go up today, Deathwing the dragon will have decimated Azeroth. The World of Warcraft will never be the same.
I have a macbook pro, it was given to me by my work and I use it for work I do at home and some other things around the house. I have videos and music on my laptop that I would…
Today, Netflix announces a streaming only plan for $7.99 per month. Consequentially, the cost other plans appear to be increasing by a dollar or so, depending on your plan. The plan announcement arrives on the heels of the recently announced Hulu Plus, which came out of the preview period earlier this week, also $7.99. Looks like a little healthy competition here, giving consumers more choice beyond cable and satellite. Score!
I’ve gotten a lot of questions on how to get avatars functioning correctly on the site. Well here is an easy answer for you, Gravatars.
We all know about Black Friday but what about some more unique gifts? Well I spent some time searching and curated a few lists for you. All of these come from our favorite nerdy/crafty sites.
That's it, comic-con registration is once again closed. At least they apologized right? When we know more we'll share it here.
The jig is up. “Black Friday doesn’t care about nerdy people.” There, I said it. Before you get your tweets twisted in a bunch, let’s try and reason it out, together. I’m here to save you from a buyer’s-remorse-laden Saturday after Black Friday. You’re welcome.
So Ash and I had both planned on posting about how you needed to be up bright and early this morning to get online and buy your comic-con tickets. Once again, it looks as if Epic could not handle the load on the servers

I hopped on Gears with my good friend Derek who is also a Gears fanatic. Let’s just say he knows how to wield his lancer…. Of all my friends that play Gears, Derek is also the most capable player. I figured he and I would be able to handle anything those ladies at EPIC could throw at us. We were vets, like Marcus and Dom.
We’ve talked a lot about TV in our podcasts so far. I wanted to highlight one that is consistently one of the most offbeat, well written and highly overlooked comedies on TV.
I have been a fan of Batman for an extremely long time. I vividly remember going to the comic shop where I grew up and purchasing Batman: Arkham Asylum. It was mind blowing, Batman was locked up in order to catch the killer Zsasz. They stage a cop’s murder and blame Batman, declaring him insane to land him in Arkham. What unfolds is an awesome detective story mixed with complete insanity. I was 14, maybe 15. I was officially in love with Batman.
