Hey all, it appears that the story of Mass Effect 2 is not quite over. I’ve been wanting to post about the new DLC for ages, but solid information was scarce, and speculative at best. All we had were tid-bits of infomation leaked onto the web by random devs who were mentioning things they probably weren’t at liberty to discuss. It was like decrypting the fucking Zodiac cypher.
“So, Capcom decided to farm out its licenses to Western developers. It was their hope that this formula would generate more cash, and some more western fans. The big problem is a lot of the “Capcom” games produced out of Japan received less than stellar reviews and no where near the quality of “actual” Capcom games. It was like putting a Ferarrai sticker on La Baron convertible and expecting people not to notice that they’re different cars.”
We’ve been told a handful of times that we need to cover more T.V.. Sadly, due to my schedule I don’t get to watch as much T.V. as I’d like to. All attempts to clone myself in order to maximize efficiency have ended horribly. How horribly you ask? We’re talking inside-out Ashs flopping around in a pool of pink goo until they expire.. true story. Here is a list I complied of early 2011 premiere dates for new seasons, new shows, and mid-season replacements. Which ones will you be watching?
We here at Nerd Appropriate would like to extend a massive “Thank You” and internet fist bump to everyone out there that makes this site worth doing. Not only is Japan very far away from the United States, their tastes are also quite different. In Japan, portable systems sell like hotcakes (which apparently sell very very quickly).
Every once in a while a development team will spring up that sadly doesn’t get the respect or sales numbers they rightly deserve. Let’s take a look at Platinum games for a moment, and some things you may have missed.
X-Box live is offering all of the Mass Effect 2 DLC for 200 points each. This deal actually expires late tonignt, but if you haven’t stumbled across this news yet I’ll spell it out for you.

Holiday booty that is! Since my brothers in nerdery are in the process of moving to a new lair and/or stalking Kristen Bell or something, I figured I’d keep the dream alive and continue my mad holiday posting spree. What else am I supposed to do with 17 days off? Because it’s always fun to discuss what you got for the holidays, let’s make some more fracking lists.
With SWTOR slated for Q1 2011 many of us are already within its “force grip”, so to speak. I have friends that ask me on a weekly basis what class and specialization I plan on playing, so I figured I may as well make a list for those that haven’t yet decided what to roll. Enjoy this compilation of information gathered from a variety of resources that may make the decision a bit easier.
James Earl Jones and Aaron Neville read a Christmas classic.
This Christmas eve let us celebrate an amazing Bioware crossover event. For a while now I’ve been hearing rumors that the best female voice actress in the biz, Jennifer Hale was going to be the voice of the Trooper class in Bioware’s upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. Well with this X-mas eve trailer those rumors have been confirmed! (Click to behold greatness)
