All of us here at NA are huge fans of Dave Filoni and the wonderful stuff he did with Star Wars: The Clone Wars. What started off as a juvenile show aimed squarely at children, soon became a rich action packed adventure series for…
We received some sad news today, after five increasingly wonderful seasons, Star Wars: The Clone Wars will finally come an end. Yes, the war will finally be over. In the end, we hope The Clone Wars will be remembered for what it truly was, an action packed story of adventure, sacrifice, and friendship
What a crazy week! On this episode of Rated NA, Scott returns from Italy, Hilary visits Canada and we’re joined by actress Ashley Eckstein from Star Wars: The Clone Wars! We’re huge fans of Ashley and all the great stuff she’s a part of, so make sure you let @HerUniverse know that you enjoyed the episode.
My love of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is not a well guarded secret. As a series, the Clone Wars continues to get better and better with each passing season and magically manages to deliver the same action and storytelling nuance that made the Star Wars of old the legend that it is today. I was lucky enough to attend the Clone Wars season five premiere and subsequent press conference at Star Wars Celebration VI, and even got a few bags of force infused popcorn to munch on while we watched! It really did taste better than regular popcorn.
Orlando FL is the theme park capital of the United States and we’re just starting to get a ton of incredible conventions in our humble city as well. Due perhaps to the success of Disney’s Hollywood studios, Orlando is lucky enough to once again be the home of the biggest Star Wars convention in the entire galaxy, Star Wars Celebration VI. Here are some of the panel highlights for the big con taking place between August 23 – August 26th 2012. It should also be noted that we’ll be doing our best to provide coverage of the event, and are really keeping our fingers crossed that there will be a lot of Twi’Leks with nice lekkus.
The live action series will be called Star Wars: Underworld and will apparently focus on the seedy underbelly of the outer rim at the height of the Empire’s power. According what we’ve been hearing the series will take place between episode 3 and 4 while Luke and Leia are still suffering from acne and Alderanean dating dilemmas. What this also means is that we’ll probably get to see a lot of familiar faces, including one perpetually pissed off Darth Vader (arm jack). According to legend, over 50 episodes of the series have already been written and are just waiting for the right opportunity to get rolling.
We take a look at the REAL status of the new Star Wars television series
Fastforward a few years and I have to say that season 3 of the Clone Wars was one of the best adventures I’ve ever witnessed on televison, and I’m elated to say that it ended with a low rumbling Wookie growl last night during the 1-hour season finale.
