Unlike PAX: East where only Maya and Salvador were playable, all four character classes were available to choose from at Prime, and I’ve been dying to get my hands on Zero the ninja. Given about 30 skill points to allocate, I ended up dumping almost all of my points into close combat as I was eager to see how this ninja thing really worked.
Thursday night we had the pleasure of helping put together a small gathering of community friends in celebration of PAX: Prime, and we couldn’t have asked for a more memorable experience. What started out as a casual cup of coffee with friends turned into one of the most positive experiences I’ve ever had at a convention.

Here we go again. PAX: Prime is here and this we brought backup! Scott, Hilary and myself will all be attending this year’s PAX: Prime, also known as the most gamer-friendly convention in all the land. While we’ve covered a ton of conventions this year (including SDCC, PAX: East, and SWCVI) there is something extra special about PAX: Prime in Seattle. As I stated last year, PAX is a magical place sprinkled with innovation, loud music, and rabid gamers. Barring a severe case of PAX-POX, it’s close to impossible to not have a great time.
