We’ve been saying it for years now, but Nerd HQ offers up some of the best programming during Comic-Con all while helping out people in need (Operation Smile). The brain-child of actor (and lover of nerdy things) Zachary Levi, Nerd HQ has been steadily growing year after year and now inhabits a portion of the massive Petco Park during the weekend of Comic-Con.
The former Chosen One, Sarah Michelle Gellar, makes her first trip back to Comic-Con since promoting The Grudge almost 10 years ago! Gellar jump-kicks her way back to Ballroom 20 in order plug her new show “The Ringer” which premieres this fall on The CW.
We love Nerd Machine! Nerd Machine is the creation of Chuck’s Zachary Levi, and is a great place to get some T-shirts and accessories (before the world ends later today). I’ve purchased a bunch of stuff from Nerd Machine and I think their gear is a ton of fun. Check out their mega 21% off sale below. And be sure to to tell them NerdAppropriate.com sent you.
Chuck has pulled off something spectacular, a 5th season pickup!
Without Scott’s character Jeff, Chuck would run the risk of becoming “just another spy show” Jeff Barnes is Chuck’s creepiest denizen, and brings the laughs in virtually every scene he’s in. Don’t even get us started on the musical sensation that is “Jeffster”…
Her look is remarkably similar to that of Mass Effect 2’s Miranda. So much so, that the writers and producers decided to throw in a line about a certain “suicide mission”.
In today’s modern age of gaming developers will often base their creations on real people. In the past it was jarring to see an “actor” pop up as a video game character, especially if they were were relatively well known. Can you imagine the nightmare of plopping in Super Mario 4 and seeing a CG version of Danny Devito hurling fireballs from his swollen quasi-dwarven finger tips?
