This season of The Guild finds The Knights of Good in a unique situation, one of their own has a sweet job working on “The Game”, and we help but notice the parallels between the events of the series and Felicia Day’s own rise to power as the princess of the internet… Yes, the whole thing.
Since our interview with them last year the ever-busy unicorns have been working on a number of projects individually, and are currently working on something incredibly cool that I promised not to talk about… yet. As much as I’d love to share the intel, Team Unicorn is a group you don’t want to agitate. After all, what do you think that horn is for?
Mark of the Assassin will feature an Elven assassin by the name of Tallis, voice and mo-capped by one very busy Felicia Day.
Today we talk about the googs buying Motorola, HP shutting down WebOS, some Bioware news, and on the set with Batman/Avengers. We review A Day in the Life, The Guild, and Aisha Tyler's new podcast Girl on Guy. Lastly we…
The internet exploded this morning with information so amazing, it can simply be described as “epic”. One of our favorite nerds, Felicia Day has been hinting at a #secretproject for weeks now, but details have been scant at best. Well this morning, bright and early, the bomb was dropped. Felicia Day was approached by Bioware to create a web-series based on their Dragon Age franchise! We have guests! Our good friends Amy and Haley stop by to talk girls in gaming and nerdery in general. We have news about a leaked Blizzard release schedule, Microsoft possibly bringing TV to your Xbox, and Heath Ledger making an appearance in the next Batman movie. We review Assassin Creed Brotherhoods multiplayer and the Guild Trade Paperback. Plus we eat pizza and live-cast on our new streaming channel. More of that to come. Oh, also, we finally use the mic that has been sitting in our living room for the past 5 episodes….only the best for the ladies!
So you have a nerdy circle one(husband, boyfriend, wife, girlfriend, friend, crush, sibling, child) and you want to get them into comics. Well that is how comics work best, much like the crack dealer on the corner (we all have one right?) you get them started on a freebie and before you know it they will be making weekly trips to the comic shop of choice and picking up their scrips (its what the cool kids call a subscription) and reading joyously all night.
