There is some good news for Voltron fans everywhere! Like a global pandemic, re-launch fever is sweeping the land and Voltron has not escaped its reach. Some remakes will be good, and others will take your childhood memories and poop all over them like a Vietnamese pungi-stick. We just learned that everyone’s favorite transforming-robot-lions will have their very own San Diego Comic Con panel hosted by none other than Carrie Keagan.
Last month we asked some of our readers who they wanted us to talk to next, and Carrie Keagan’s name was on the top of the list. Carrie actually intercepted our tweets and agreed to do the interview on the spot… that sort of thing generally doesn’t happens to us, so we were jazzed to say the least.
I’m going to fill you in on a little secret, Nerd Appropriate is run by THREE people all of whom have full time jobs. This means that we run and operate the site in our off hours, and, still have to make time for friends, family, food, and fun. April was a bit of a struggle for us, but we made it through and still managed to provide a sizable chunk of new and exclusive content. There is a ton of stuff in the works for May, but for now, let’s take a look at some of April’s highlights.
This weekend many of you will plop down in the theater and watch Wes Craven’s Scream 4. While the initial buzz on the film is positive, we’d love to know what you think? Take a look at the press release from Dimesion as well as this great video done by Carrie Keagan and the gang at NGTV.
Today we talk Google and their many announcements, Candace Bailey on AOTS, Dead Space 2, and George Lucas buying dead people. We review the deck building, table top Resident Evil game, and give our previews for the Spike VGAs, then if you stick around, it’s EMBARRASSING STORY TIME with Ash. Which is actually not when he has the seizure, that’s much earlier during the news. Thanks for listening! Also, for those that notice/care, the music bumpers have been significantly shortened, but no Micah, it’s not because I care what you think, Pilx wins the vote on this one, thanks buddy.
