I’m a huge fan of Mr. Whedon. However, when I found out he’d be directing The Avengers I was a bit scared for the man.
A spoiler free review of Super – “While it’s far from a “perfect” film, it’s incredibly unique, and at some points moving. Isn’t that why we go to the movies in the first place? On the other hand, Super is an exhausting film that leaves you feeling a bit empty inside. The laughs and violence were spectacular, but they couldn’t really mask the overall somber tone of the movie. The film did a great job of showing us why the world does NOT have super heroes. If you try and fight a criminal with a gun……”

Zack “Sucker Punch” Snyder has finally cast General Zod in his upcoming film Superman: The Man of Steel. Seeing how Superman is only interesting when he faces off against a foe that can really kick his ass (Doomsday, Darkseid, and Zod), this should be a pretty fun film.
If the trailer is any indication, Super 8 very much appears to be the spiritual successor to The Goonies sprinkled with a little bit of E.T.!
Now, specific roles have yet to be revealed but I went ahead and did some casting for Tarantino’s next bloodbath anyway! How’d you do that Ash? Hold on a second and I’ll tell you, yeesh!
ill and Ted’s Excellent adventure is a special film for me. When I was a little grub of a kid I rode my bike to the local cineplex to see Bill and Ted because I loved metal, and left the theater loving history. Now, as an adult, I teach kids all about characters such as: Genghis Khan, Joan of Arc, Abe Lincoln and Socrates (pronounced So-Crates.. duh)
While wandering the mean streets of Western Philadelphia, Kung Fu dojo owner and “master” (Will) witnesses a terrible crime. A gang dressed in basketball jerseys brutally mugs an elderly woman in plain sight. Unable to contain himself Will steps in and attempts to use his Kung Fu skills to save the woman, but sadly Will is overwhelmed and killed at gunpoint. Months later Will’s young son Jaden, is sent to live with his aunt and uncle in Bel-Air, only he’s not alone!!
