Comic Con 2011: Bioware Panel Info

Bioware will have a large presence at this year’s San Diego Comic Con!  That’s right, Bioware will be showcasing demos of Mass Effect 3, SWTOR, and the new Dragon Age II DLC at their own location right outside the convention center.  As if that weren’t enough, Bioware will also be participating in a handful of panels.  Hopefully using our nerdly powers we’ll be able to jump-kick our way through a legion of fans so that we can bring you the latest Bioware news from San Diego.  Check out the panel times and locations below!

MASS EFFECT MOVIE –

Friday – 12:45-1:45 Legendary Pictures: Preproduction Preview— Legendary Pictures holds its first-ever Comic-Con panel and shares an early look at some of the movies on the company’s upcoming film slate. Fans will be able to access Legendary’s plans, garner sneak peeks at their movies in preproduction, and hear from filmmakers and cast members from the upcoming Pacific Rim, Seventh Son, Paradise Lost, and Mass Effect. Panel participants include Jeff Bridges, Bradley Cooper, Guillermo del Toro, Ben Barnes, Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Alicia Vikander, Alex Proyas, Sergei Bodrov, Travis Beacham, Mark Protosevich, and Casey Hudson. Room 6BCF

Geek Girl Con: Designing Women of Bioware: Panel Coverage

The first annual Geek Girl Con was held on October 8th and 9th  in Seattle, WA. This was the first con I’d been to in years and I met some great people (check out these awesome Dragon Age cosplayers) and snagged a couple of autographs. For purposes of this piece I’m focusing on two panels I sat in on: the Designing Women of Bioware and “No, I am not a Booth Babe:” Sexism in the Video Game Industry (Weds!).

I was desperate. My music selection was depressing me, and local talk radio was starting to sound like a Ford commercial. Considering that I spend about an hour of my day on average commuting, I went on the hunt for some podcasts last year that ended up making my driving experience much more enjoyable. Did I mention that these are all FREE to download?
