Is there room on the Rated NA podcast for two nerds named Ash? We’re joined on this week’s episode of Rated NA by writer, actress, and all around creative whirlwind, Ashly Burch. Ashly and her brother Anthony are the masterminds behind the incredibly hilarious comedy series Hey Ash Whatcha’ Playin? (HAWP). If web comedy isn’t your thing, Ashly also voiced everyone’s favorite 13 year old explosive expert Tiny Tina in Borderlands 2! We were lucky enough to have Ash on for the entire episode and ended up gushing for hours about Mass Effect, The Walking Dead, XCOM and more.. Oh yeah, we also got around to reading your listener responses to this week’s NAQOTW.

Great podcast guys and girls!! But damn you all for giving me watery eyes on the way to work today as I was listening to the Family Moments NAQoTW responses and Matt (I think it was) for bringing up Toy Story 3. Mine wasn’t the furnace scene, though that was pretty heart wrenching.

I know none of you have kids, but try to get this. Imagine if you will, I’m sitting in the theatre with my 5 and 3 year old boys and we’ve gotten through the furnace scene with only them both being a little scared…to get to the end of the movie when Andy is handing over the toys to the little girl, he gets to Buzz and (especially) Woody, that killed me. I’m sitting there remembering the same thing from when I was a kid, and that my boys will go through the same thing, jeez…eyes were tearing up so bad.

You guys do a great job every week – from telling us what you’ve been doing, your guests (please get Ali Hillis back on – I need to find the podcast you already had her on), all the game/movie/tv etc news and info. And generally just sharing (at least some) part of your lives with us listeners each week.,

      The furnace scene had me near tears, but the toy handing over scene did me in completely. Weirdly enough it was on later that day (after we recorded) and I watched it. SUCH a good movie.
