In today’s modern age of gaming developers will often base their creations on real people. In the past it was jarring to see an “actor” pop up as a video game character, especially if they were were relatively well known. Can you imagine the nightmare of plopping in Super Mario 4 and seeing a CG version of Danny Devito hurling fireballs from his swollen quasi-dwarven finger tips?
Patryk Olejniczak was the winner of the Bioware fan art contest at Comic Con 2011. As a reward for his amazing skills Bioware gave him a signed hoodie… Oh, and a job as a concept artist at Bioware. Patryk is now gainfully employed by one the most popular software developers on the planet and created this spectacular wallpaper of the new red-headed official fem-Shep. Love or hate Bioware’s decision to let fans vote on Shepard’s identity, you simply can’t argue that this art is incredible.
