During last night’s podcast we mentioned that id’s RAGE was actually arriving on store shelves pretty pretty damn soon (Sept 13). This new video clip shows the game in action, along with a pretty lengthly look at vehicular combat. id assured us that RAGE is not “just another pretty face“, and, that the game promises to deliver tons of innovation to the FPS genre. While a few of the fellas during the podcast may have dismissed RAGE as yet another post-apocalyptic “crazy mutant” FPS, I disagree! id software is arguably the grandfather of the entire FPS genre. I personally think that it’s safe to say that they’ll be bringing something new to the table this time around. If not, well then we get one of the best looking console games of all time… Oh no!
