Dragon Age Legends: Live, Unlocks

Just in time for the release of Dragon Age II, the Facebook component Dragon Age Legends is now live. Aside from wasting away your work day by checking into this game every couple of hours, you can also link the game to your EA account to unlock items in Dragon Age II. Also, if you’ve played other EA games such as Mass Effect 2 and Dead Space 2, you will unlock items for your avatar in Legends, including some items inspired by Jade Empire. (Just between you and me, I think a Jade Empire II is long overdue.)

Get into the game now, invite your friends, and let’s help one another unlock all these items in Dragon Age II !!

Update: Looks like this game is available for “mobile” as well… I think we all know what that means.

Resident Evil: Revelations – Icy Cold New Info!

The Nintendo 3DS may not be selling all that well… yet.  These new Resident Evil: Revelation screens and trailer prove that there is a whole lot of horsepower under the hood of that little dust collecting Nintendo machine.  The Nintendo 3DS is sadly underrepresented in the “new” software department, sure you may love playing Pilot Wings for hours on end, but I for one am elated to see such an amazing looking title coming from Capcom on the 3DS.

Romero’s Call of the Dead: A Nerdsplosion!

Before you get all excited about Sunnydale’s favorite slayer returning to television, I’ll fill you in on a little secret, it’s not really happening! On the other hand, we’re getting one of the most bizarre pop-culture mash-ups I’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing. What happens when the father of all Zombie films, George Romero, sinks his teeth into a Call of Duty expansion pack? Call of the Dead happens! And why is this so damn cool? Call of the Dead allows you to play as Buffy, Machete, Freddy Kruger, and Michael Rooker!

    The Beta was fun! Looking forward to actually playing the real version of this!

      Hrm. Well it may not be entirely live. Last time I logged in the welcome screen noted that this was a “head start” on the game for those that participated in the Beta. It stands to reason that those who did not participate in the Beta might not have immediate access to the game. I’ve not been able to confirm this however.
