That’s right, Brea is working on her directorial debut Best Friends Forever, and she needs our help finish it up. Shot on glorious 16mm fim, a rarity in our digital age, BFF won’t be cheap to finish, but the final product will sure look pretty.
On this special milestone podcast, we talk about what NA and your support mean to us. We discuss Borderlands 2, Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, Alan Wake American Nightmare, Hero Academy, SSX, Gotham City Impostors, and Matt’s Oscar move roundup and comic book picks. Finally, past interviewee’s and NA alum join in on our conversation about how today’s media will be viewed in 100 years. This podcast features music from chiptune artist, Leeni (leeni.bandcamp.com), as well as music from The Glitch Mob. Yesssss!
Episode 50 of our podcast Rated NA will be going live tomorrow afternoon, but we felt obligated to share these incredible responses to this weeks question: “What video game franchise, film, or television series will be viewed as art in 100 years and why?” On top of getting a ton of stellar responses from our friends and readers, we were also lucky enough to hear back from a number of the people that made the past 15 months at Nerd Appropriate so awesome. One of the best things about being a part of this site, is getting to talk with such incredibly creative people about the things we love, and for that we’re immensely grateful. Take a look at what some of our friends in the industry had to say about the future.
Sean Hackett is the director, writer, producer, and co-star of the independent feature Homecoming. Last year I had the pleasure of seeing Sean “in action“, and, my time on set was incredibly positive. Even late into the night, Sean kept morale high, got his shots done, and had time to laugh it up with the cast and crew. It was awesome to see such a competent young young director having a blast while doing his job. We asked Sean a series of probing questions shortly after his “Best U.S./International Film” win at the Kansas City Film Festival. Check it out!
