Captain America:The Winter Soldier Trailer Released

Yay!

The trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier was just released by Marvel Studios!  Out in theaters on April 4, 2014. This story takes place aver the cataclysmic event at the end of The Avengers movie, which they make humorous nods to in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the Battle of New York. When a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent is attacked, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) will save the day alongside new hero the Falcon (Anthony Mackie).  Samuel L. Jackson  returns as Nick Fury. Man, we love him- am I right? and New to the Marvel family is Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce. You’ll remember that Pierce was once a sleeper agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a decoding guru. He also looked like this :

Ahhh! I’m so excited about all the Marvel movies coming out! *squeal*

PAX East 2014: EVOLVE – Hunt or be Hunted

RNA_PAX_2014In EVOLVE four hunters, each with unique weapons and skills, race to bring down a monstrous behemoth that is constantly growing more deadly as the match progresses. Think of the game sort of like the movie Predator, but with the Predator constantly munching on steroids to get even more predator-y. Both Scott and I played EVOLVE at this year’s PAX and had very different experiences.

He is the night and now he has friends

I have been a fan of Batman for an extremely long time. I vividly remember going to the comic shop where I grew up and purchasing Batman: Arkham Asylum. It was mind blowing, Batman was locked up in order to catch the killer Zsasz. They stage a cop’s murder and blame Batman, declaring him insane to land him in Arkham. What unfolds is an awesome detective story mixed with complete insanity. I was 14, maybe 15. I was officially in love with Batman.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter: Honestly Awesome! (VIDEO)

Abe Lincoln has been one of my favorite historical figures since I was a little kid.  There is something mythical about that giant man and all that he accomplished.  I would venture to say that Abraham Lincoln is quite possibly one of the most respected Americans of all time.  After all “honest Abe” was the good natured emancipator who did his damnedest to keep America unified during an incredibly brutal and bloody Civil War.
