    Funny Resident Evil trivia: Capcom originally planned the game as a first-person shooter before the final product came out the way it did. Shouldn’t be a surprise if Resident Evil 7 took a cue from that concept. BTW, the spin-off Gun Survivor for the Playstation 1 was a thing as well (i.e. Resident Evil as a “light gun” game, except with RE controls).
