Locke & Key Trailer: the show that never will be, but should have

Locke & Key was a big announcement for Fox, and then just as quickly was pulled. Fortunately (unfortunately?) there was some work done and this trailer hit the internet. The show looks amazing and I really think Fox may have screwed the pooch on this one. Although, it may be better to have 5 min and wish we had gotten more then to have 13 episodes with no ending. Con Report: MAY-HEM – Day 1

The folks at Spooky Empires put on a great con that is chiefly geared toward horror and science fiction fans. Spooky Empires is a blast mainly due to its unique “family reunion” atmosphere. Does this mean that there are creepy drunk uncles wandering the floor? No… well… yes, but not really.

Written by a Kid: Where Bizarro Kid-Imagination Comes to Life!

I remember writing a multi-part story in second grade about my magical robot wristwatch. The story was so strange and filled with raw imagination that my mother kept it for ages. Heck, it may still be in an envelope someplace in the bottom of a dresser. Kids have unfiltered and unsullied imaginations, and that imagination is what makes Geek and Sundry’s Written by a Kid so incredible. Actual stories written by actual kids are brought to life visually for our enjoyment.

    That clip is both amazing and sad. Too bad.

    I heard that the pilot was basically the first trade. I wonder what they would do after 4 episodes at that pace.
