Comic Con is full of crazy events that seemingly pop up out of the blue. If you’re a Mass Effect fan in San Diego be sure to stop by the Gasp Lamp Hilton around 6:00 on Saturday to “march” with lead producer Casey Hudson on the convention center.
The biggest, scariest, and most hectic nerd convention in all the land is almost upon us, San Diego Comic Con International! Even if you’ve been your fair share of nerd conventions, I assure you, there is nothing on Earth like San Diego Comic Con. For the next few days I’ll be dropping some Comic Con knowledge bombs so that you can have the best time humanly possible at the world’s biggest nerd gathering.

Like the Sudan, the internet can be a cruel and terrible place. Team Unicorn does their best to sprinkle a bit of unicorn magic on the internet in an attempt to make it a better place. This time around Team Unicorn brings us a fun/fake trailer for the movie Alien Beach Crashers.
The Nerd Machine is now hosting a series of special panels right outside the walls of the convention center. The spectacular thing about The Nerd Machine’s panels is that they’re limited to 250 people (which is incredibly small by Comic Con’s standards), and your ENTIRE 20 dollar donation goes to charity.

Bioware will have a large presence at this year’s San Diego Comic Con! On top of having their own setup right outside the convention center (in the gas-lamp), complete with demos of Mass Effect 3, SWTOR, and the new Dragon Age II DLC, Bioware will aslo be be participating in a handful of panels.
Casey Hudson just let the cat out of the bag. The Mass Effect movie (which was in development limbo) will indeed be represented at this year’s Comic Con in San Diego. The problem, it appears as though the panel will more than likely take place in the dreaded Hall-H. In recent years Hall-H has become nearly impossible to step foot in due to die-hard fans (Twilight/etc) camping out overnight in order to see their favorite stars. Here is what we know so far.
Comic Con 2011 is right around the corner, and we can’t wait for the chaos. Zachary Levi, star of NBC’s Chuck, also happens to be the co-owner of Nerd Machine, a company that is hell bent on bringing nerd-culture to the masses. Levi apparently has friends in high places because he convinced everyone’s favorite captain to shoot a PSA on Swamp Ass
A few years ago we missed this very small window that one has to get Comic Con tickets (now hours) and were stuck waiting for extra tickets to become available.
