We all know about Black Friday but what about some more unique gifts? Well I spent some time searching and curated a few lists for you. All of these come from our favorite nerdy/crafty sites.
That's it, comic-con registration is once again closed. At least they apologized right? When we know more we'll share it here.
The jig is up. “Black Friday doesn’t care about nerdy people.” There, I said it. Before you get your tweets twisted in a bunch, let’s try and reason it out, together. I’m here to save you from a buyer’s-remorse-laden Saturday after Black Friday. You’re welcome.
So Ash and I had both planned on posting about how you needed to be up bright and early this morning to get online and buy your comic-con tickets. Once again, it looks as if Epic could not handle the load on the servers
Today you will learn about local film festivals, comic con ticket purchasing, and some new Batman movie news. We’ll spoil Mass Effect 2, review CoDBLOPS and the Kinect…and I feel like I’m forgetting something…oh yeah, our bathroom habits. Enjoy.
I hopped on Gears with my good friend Derek who is also a Gears fanatic. Let’s just say he knows how to wield his lancer…. Of all my friends that play Gears, Derek is also the most capable player. I figured he and I would be able to handle anything those ladies at EPIC could throw at us. We were vets, like Marcus and Dom.
We’ve talked a lot about TV in our podcasts so far. I wanted to highlight one that is consistently one of the most offbeat, well written and highly overlooked comedies on TV.
I have been a fan of Batman for an extremely long time. I vividly remember going to the comic shop where I grew up and purchasing Batman: Arkham Asylum. It was mind blowing, Batman was locked up in order to catch the killer Zsasz. They stage a cop’s murder and blame Batman, declaring him insane to land him in Arkham. What unfolds is an awesome detective story mixed with complete insanity. I was 14, maybe 15. I was officially in love with Batman.
After using my Google detective skills (I used to work for a private eye… really) I discovered that Alison was in town to promote an indi film by the name of Montana Amazon. After clicking around a few more moments I was able to snatch up tickets to the Sunday showing of Montana Amazon at the Orlando film festival , only a few miles from my house.
Yep, that's right, you can make a permanent account, add an avatar, login and hang out in the comments sections.
Today we discuss Scott getting a Kinect, Resident Evil, DirecTV cancels G4, Dragon Age on Facebook, the return of the behemoth Microsoft, Fallout New Vegas, Force Unleashed II, and TV show cancellations, plus you can find out what we were for halloween.
After a week with Kinect, I still find myself playing Kinect Adventures. Not because its a stellar title with a great story arc, rather primarily because there are some easy achievements out there in a game in a game that I essentially got for free. I’m also off my couch and moving around.
