Quite possibly the biggest triumph of AC3’s ship combat is how surprisingly well it all fits into the story. You would think that a half Native American assassin would have no place on the deck of a pirate ship, but it all makes sense and feels incredibly organic.
Omega is definitely a fun addition which I would recommend for anyone looking to spend a couple more hours in the Mass Effect universe. Games rarely surprise me these days. It’s not that I’ve become bitter and jaded, quite the opposite really, I still love games, but I’ve been playing a lot of the SAME games of late. Telltale’s The Walking Dead did what no other title could accomplish this year , it genuienly surprised me in the best way possible.
